How to use

Step 1
Apply 5-30 minutes before activity
Hold the applicator tip as close as possible to the opening at the tip of the penis and apply all the cream. Do not insert the applicator into the opening. The strength is alprostadil 300 mcg.

Partner precautions
If the partner is pregnant or trying to conceive, use a condom. Wash hands after application.

Short acting, per occasion
Use one single-dose container per occasion, only once in a 24-hour period and no more than 2-3 times per week.

If not satisfactory after several proper attempts, discuss with the prescriber.

Side effects
Local effects
Penile or urethral burning, stinging, redness, or minor bleeding. Usually mild and brief.
Partner effects
Partner may experience vaginal burning or itching. Headache or dizziness possible. Priapism rare.

Do not use this treatment if
- You are allergic to alprostadil or any ingredient in the applicator
- You have a condition that raises the risk of priapism or a penile condition that has not been reviewed
- A clinician has advised that sexual activity is unsafe because of a heart condition
If any item may apply, do not use the medicine until a clinician has reviewed it.

Contact your doctor if
- An erection lasting 4 hours or longer — seek urgent care
- Severe penile pain, bleeding, rash, or persistent swelling
- The prescribed dose does not provide a satisfactory response after several attempts

Storage
Store in a refrigerator at 2-8°C and do not freeze. An unopened sachet may be kept below 25°C for up to 3 days before use; discard it if unused after that period. Keep it in the original sachet to protect it from light.

What to expect
Alprostadil cream works locally and requires sexual stimulation. Effect within 5-30 minutes lasting about 1-2 hours.
