What Orforglipron is, and how to get treatment
Orforglipron is a weight-management tablet made by Eli Lilly. It is a pill version of the same idea behind the GLP-1 injections: it acts on the brain's appetite signals so you feel full sooner and eat less. It was approved in the United States on 1 April 2026 under the brand name Foundayo. It does not have a marketing authorisation in the European Union, so a doctor in the EU cannot prescribe it and you cannot get it from an EU pharmacy.
Orforglipron has no EU marketing authorisation for this use. It may be an approved medicine for something else, or approved in another country — but not something a doctor here can prescribe for this.
