Why buying it online is risky

NOT AVAILABLE TODAY
Our licensed doctors currently focus on three areas with solid clinical evidence and a clear EU regulatory framework. We extend the catalogue as specialists join and regulation allows. Ipamorelin is outside the current scope.
Buying Ipamorelin online without a valid prescription carries counterfeiting and toxicity risks. Always consult a licensed healthcare professional.
IN PLAIN TERMS
Ipamorelin is a laboratory-made peptide that acts on the ghrelin receptor in the pituitary gland, prompting the body to release a short burst of its own growth hormone. A pharmaceutical company tested it for recovery of bowel function after surgery; it was never approved for any use, in the European Union or anywhere else, so no doctor can prescribe it. It is now sold online for muscle gain and "anti-ageing" — uses for which no completed trial result has ever been published. Those vials are supplied as research chemicals made outside medicines manufacturing rules, so their contents and purity cannot be verified.
Ipamorelin has no EU marketing authorisation for this use. It may be an approved medicine for something else, or approved in another country — but not something a doctor here can prescribe for this.

NAMED SAFETY SIGNALS
The US Food and Drug Administration states that "a study published in literature identified serious adverse events including death when ipamorelin was administered intravenously for improving gastric motility".
The FDA states it "has not identified safety-related information regarding ipamorelin acetate via certain other injectable routes of administration" and therefore "lacks sufficient information to know whether the drug would cause harm if administered to humans via those routes".
Ipamorelin acetate was added on 29 September 2023 to category 2 of the FDA's interim bulk drug substances policy — substances that may present significant safety risks — and remains listed there.
Two company-run phase 2 trials completed in 2009 and 2013; neither posted results to the trial registry, and ipamorelin was never approved for any indication.
UNAPPROVED PRODUCTS ONLINE
No doctor in the EU can prescribe it for this use — including ours. It may be authorised in another country, or for a different condition.
A legitimate online pharmacy in the EU must display the common logo linked to its national register. The logo is a verification check; it cannot make an unapproved medicine legal.
How the EU common logo worksIpamorelin is a molecule frequently searched online; it does not currently fall within Hi-Doctor's clinical scope.
WHAT TO KNOW
