Our licensed doctors currently focus on three areas with solid clinical evidence and a clear EU regulatory framework. We extend the catalogue as specialists join and regulation allows. Finerenone is outside the current scope.
Buying Finerenone online without a valid prescription carries counterfeiting and toxicity risks. Always consult a licensed healthcare professional.
IN PLAIN TERMS
Finerenone, sold as Kerendia, is a kidney and heart medicine. It calms an overactive hormone signal that drives scarring in the kidney, and it holds an EU-wide marketing authorisation for chronic kidney disease with albuminuria in adults who also have type 2 diabetes. It is a specialist medicine: it needs regular blood-potassium checks and is normally started by a kidney or diabetes doctor. Hi-Doctor treats hair loss, weight management and sexual health, and does not treat kidney disease or diabetes.
Finerenone has been authorised for use in the EU since 16 February 2022, so a licensed doctor can prescribe it when it is clinically appropriate for you.

WHAT IT IS
Blocks the mineralocorticoid receptor, a signal in the kidney and heart that drives inflammation and scarring when it is overactivated.
DEVELOPMENT STAGE
Every NCT identifier links to its ClinicalTrials.gov record. A readout is not the same as peer-reviewed publication.
| TRIAL / NCT | POPULATION | PARTICIPANTS | STATUS | READOUT / COMPLETION |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| FIDELIO-DKDNCT02540993 | Adults with chronic kidney disease and type 2 diabetes already treated with a renin-angiotensin system blocker | 5,734 | Read out | 2020-10-23 |
Results are grouped by source and evidence grade so journal data and manufacturer announcements cannot be confused.
| DOSE OR GROUP | MEAN WEIGHT CHANGE | WEEKS |
|---|---|---|
| 10–20 mg once daily | Primary kidney composite outcome 17.8% vs 21.1% on placebo over a median 2.6 years (hazard ratio 0.82, 95% CI 0.73–0.93; P=0.001) | — |
| 10–20 mg once daily | Key secondary cardiovascular composite outcome 13.0% vs 14.8% on placebo (hazard ratio 0.86, 95% CI 0.75–0.99; P=0.03) | — |
Everyone enrolled had both chronic kidney disease with albuminuria and type 2 diabetes, and was already on a renin-angiotensin blocker; the trial says nothing about people without those conditions.
