What does the weight management programme include?

It includes an initial consultation with an EU-licensed doctor, review of your medical history and lifestyle, and — if clinically indicated — a REMPE prescription. Quarterly reviews to adjust the plan based on your progress.

Do I need a minimum BMI to be a candidate?

In general, the typical EU protocol requires BMI ≥ 30 or BMI ≥ 27 with associated comorbidities. The licensed doctor reviews your case and confirms whether you are a candidate; if not, the consultation fee is refunded.

Does it work across the whole EU?

Yes. The REMPE prescription is valid in any pharmacy across the 27 EU member states under Directive 2011/24/EU. Outside Spain, the pharmacist dispenses the locally-available equivalent of the same active ingredient.

Can I combine it with a nutritionist?

Yes. Pharmacological treatment is one tool within a broader plan. Hi-Doctor does not replace nutritional follow-up or exercise; the doctor always reminds you of this in the prescription.

How much does the initial consultation cost?

€25. If you are not a candidate, the fee is fully refunded. Medications are paid separately at the pharmacy, at local market price in the country of collection.

Can the treatment be stopped safely?
