Which weight-loss medicines can a doctor prescribe?
Depending on your case, the treatment can be weekly or daily injections, capsules or tablets. The doctor reviews your questionnaire and health history, then decides case by case. Sometimes the answer is no.
Generally adults with a BMI of 30 or above, or 27 and above with a weight-related condition such as high blood pressure or type 2 diabetes. The questionnaire checks this first.
Nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting and constipation, mostly while the dose is being increased. Your doctor explains what to expect and you can message them at any time.
Plan and payment3 questions
€25 every 28 days for the ongoing plan, or €35 for a one-time consultation. The medicine is paid separately at the pharmacy.
